Summer Drama Camp for Kids — 2025
Hosted by Idaho Repertory Theatre, our drama camp provides an exceptional opportunity for young people to express their creativity and contribute to the rich cultural life we enjoy on the Palouse. This summer we will be producing "Peter Pan" in an adaptation by Kathryn Schultz Miller. All camp participants will have a role in the production which will be performed live in the Hartung Theater, on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3. Each group of campers (The Pirates, morning and The Lost Children, afternoon) will perform twice.
Camp overview:
- July 14 - Aug. 3, 2025
- The Pirates (a.m. group): 8 a.m. to noon
- The Lost Children (p.m. group): 1-5 p.m.
- Monday-Friday with four public performances across Saturday, Aug. 2, and Sunday, Aug. 3
- For kids 7 to 14 years old
- Participation Fee: $375 per cast member until June 14. After June 14, fee increases to $400 per participant

Aerial Arts Summer Camp
Join theatre faculty and aerialists from Gem State Flyers performance troupe for the brand-new summer aerial arts camp for children ages 7 to 18. Campers will learn the basic vocabulary and skills on three apparatuses: aerial silks, aerial sling and aerial hoop/lyra.
There are two camp opportunities:
- Aerial Basics — ages 7-12; one week of camp instruction (3 hours a day) culminating in a showcase with small group performances
- Dates: June 23-27; showcase at 2 p.m. on June 28
- Tuition: $225
- Aerial Basics + Performance — ages 13-18; two weeks of camp instruction (week 1: 3 hours per day; week 2: 4 hours per day) culminating in an individual performance choreographed to music
- Dates: June 23-27 and July 7-11 with performances at 7 p.m. on July 11 and 2 p.m. on July 12
- Tuition: $375
